Considering no natural snow this season and being after the holidays, I was certainly impressed by a nearly uniform packed powder surface. No ice or slush anywhere outside of lift mazes. Occasional hardpack subsurface in heavy traffic areas. Summit made lots of snow last week and groomed it intensively. Chair 10 had just opened this week and was great for high speed cruising. The Westridge park is nicely set up for sloped landings without too much compression. The really big hits are in the new Ego Trip Super Park. From the lift we observed a couple of huge airs executed there (including one invert) with clean landings.

I do understand why the Wall has fallen behind the terrain parks in snowmaking priority (snowboarders are a clear majority at Summit now), but this is the first season that they have blown snow on Chairs 5 and 10 before Chair 6.
