There is a late spring type surface, likely due to rain Thursday. Everythin with decent cover was groomed. Surface went from bulletproof at 8AM to hardpack by 9:30 to a good spring surface at 11AM to loose granular with slop at the base area after lunch, and back to hardpack by 3:30. It will take a dump or several days of snowmaking to improve the surface.

On East, everyone was on Goldrush because Sundance was blocked off for a race until 2PM. Olympic was not covered, and the Canyon was closed (thin cover, would gotten rocky with traffic.

On West, all runs off the top to bottom triple were open, but the only a few on the western side were open. I skied Gunslinger at 3PM (very carefully on smooth boilerplate).

New management has upgraded base area, shuttle buses and grooming. There is obviously a rationing of their limited snowmaking to keep the majority of runs well covered, while letting some of the expert runs go until they get some more snow.
