Thunder Mt. is still covered from South Bowl to Toilet Bowl / Robin's, plus the fire road to Goldridge and Bonanza. Unfortunately, the weather has been very uncooperative for spring skiing, with only 2-3 freezing nights in the last 2 weeks to set up the snow. Thus the snow today was soft and heavy even at 9AM. Yesterday's drizzle probably didn't help any. The best skiing is on skier packed moguls of Skyline, Emiles, Liftline and Goldridge. The grooming on Robin's and Bonanza is somewhat haphazard. South Bowl is still OK, but it would be better if the snow had set up. The whole area was in a cloud today, so at least the snow didn't get any worse before I left at 1PM. The snow on Thunder should last at least 2 more weeks although they may lose the beginner area sooner.
